Does herpes heal quickly if you break it with a needle?

Herpes doesn’t always heal quickly when it is punctured and may even be aggravated by infection. That is why it is not recommended to use needles to puncture herpes in patients with the presence of herpes. Clinically, skin herpes is usually seen in herpes simplex and herpes zoster. Both are caused by viral infections, so both can be treated with antiviral therapy through acyclovir or valacyclovir. However, it is not recommended to use needles to puncture the herpes because if the needles are not clean or the lesions are not properly sterilized, the herpes may become infected and aggravate the condition. When herpes occurs due to viral infection, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital in a timely manner for treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor, and avoid treating it on your own to prevent aggravation of the condition.
