The discharge of material like tofu skin from the uterus is abnormal and may be due to conditions such as necrosis or shedding of endometrial polyps after the endometrial lining has been exfoliated. Women need to be treated with pro-uterine contraction agents and anti-infection medications, such as Yimu Cao granules or Gui Zhi Fu Ling capsules or Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan, to promote uterine contraction and expel the necrotic tissue from the uterine cavity.
