A resting heart rate of 45 beats/minute is not normal and is considered bradycardia. The normal range of heart rate is 60~100 beats/min, at rest, if the heart rate is lower than 45 beats/min, it belongs to bradycardia, if there is no obvious symptom, it does not need special treatment. Patients with bradycardia, such as dizziness and fatigue, should undergo dynamic electrocardiography to understand the underlying heart rate status, and if necessary, be given medication to increase the heart rate, such as atropine. It is also important to know if the patient is in sinus rhythm, and in a few patients, they may have a degree III AV block, which requires pacemaker therapy if necessary. Patients with bradycardia should be assessed for severity and can be treated under the supervision of a physician if necessary.
