How to treat idiopathic tremor?

Idiopathic tremor, mainly postural and motor tremor of the hands, head and other parts of the body. Approximately 60% of patients have a family history of the condition. The tremor can worsen progressively and can be aggravated by concentration, mental stress, fatigue, and hunger. In most cases, it disappears temporarily after drinking alcohol and worsens the next day, which is the clinical characteristic of idiopathic tremor. Patients with idiopathic tremor have their work and life affected by the shaking of their hands, so how to treat idiopathic tremor? 1.Medication: After the diagnosis of idiopathic tremor patients, they will generally take medication first. Aroclor hydrochloride and propranolol hydrochloride are both effective drugs for the treatment of idiopathic tremor, and a certain amount of medication is given according to the patient’s age, the severity of the tremor, and the physical condition (the drug has an effect on the heart rate, which will slow down the heart rate, and the patient’s heart rate will generally be checked). 2, surgical treatment: patients with severe idiopathic tremor, surgical treatment can be considered, the current clinical treatment using deep brain electrical stimulation, the principle of which is through the implanted body pulse generator, issuing weak electrical pulses, stimulating the brain to control the movement of the relevant nerve clusters, inhibiting the abnormal brain nerve signals that cause tremors, so as to effectively control the body tremor symptoms of idiopathic tremor. However, there are strict indications for surgical treatment. Diagnosis of primary idiopathic tremor disease without cerebellar or vertebral tract damage; definite efficacy but significantly diminished efficacy with reasonable medication; significantly diminished ability to take care of oneself; no significant dementia or psychiatric symptoms; and the ability to cooperate well with the surgeon during the operation. Surgery can only be implemented after detailed preoperative examination in hospital without contraindications to surgery. 3.Rehabilitation: It means that the patient does not end the treatment in the course of medication or after surgery, but should continue to maintain good habits, regular work and rest, regular meals, supplement nutritious meals, avoid fatigue and hunger. Active and optimistic life, participate in social activities, etc., avoid anxiety, tension, anger, etc., adhere to exercise to improve physical fitness and enhance immunity. Drinking control is also not advocated, drinking itself is very harmful to the body and is not a healthy and effective treatment method.
