When can you get pregnant after a booster CT?

After Enhanced CT is done, it is relatively safe to advise patients to wait for 3 to 6 months to prepare for pregnancy. This is because enhanced CT can cause some radiation to the body during the scanning process, and the radiation can affect the quality of the sperm or egg, which may eventually lead to problems with the embryo. Therefore, to be on the safe side, patients should try to space out their pregnancies for a while. Compared with plain CT scan, enhanced CT has a higher radiation exposure to the human body. Because CT plain scan is only a cross-sectional scan of the corresponding organ, enhanced CT scan has to be performed in multiple phases depending on the contrast agent entering the body, which is equivalent to two to three CT plain scans, so the radiation to the human body will be higher. If there is any abnormality, you should go to the hospital in time for examination and treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
