2. Strengthening the Spleen Pill: the main ingredients are Radix Codonopsis, Citrus aurantium, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, etc. Its effect is to strengthen the spleen and open the stomach and is used for weak spleen and stomach, distension and fullness of the epigastric region (abdomen), and loose stools with scanty food (thin and unshaped feces).
It should be used with caution in pregnant and lactating women, and is contraindicated in those who are allergic to this drug. This drug is not suitable for the evidence of tongue with little fluid, dry mouth and acute enteritis and diarrhea. It is not advisable to eat cold, greasy and indigestible food while taking this medicine.
3. Gentian Liver Pill: the main ingredients are gentian, chaihu, scutellaria, gardenia, etc. Its efficacy is to clear the liver and gallbladder, diuresis of dampness-heat, used for dizziness caused by dampness-heat of the liver and gallbladder, pain in the ear, tinnitus and deafness. Pregnant women, old and weak, loose stools should be cautious of using this drug, children and heart disease and other chronic diseases such as serious people should be taken under the guidance of a physician, allergic to this drug is prohibited.
