What is the essence of TCM Qigong?

For thousands of years, people have been using qigong to strengthen their bodies, prevent and cure diseases, and prolong their lives. However, how does qigong strengthen the body, prevent and cure diseases, and prolong life? After research, it is believed that qigong can increase the energy of certain molecules in meridian points through meditation, intention, breath regulation and movement, and the harmful substances originally combined in the meridians will fall off, so as to achieve the effect of dispelling cold and heat and unblocking the meridians, so that the movement of the meridians can return to normal, thus achieving the purpose of strengthening the body, preventing and curing diseases and prolonging life. 1.What do you mean by qigong? What do you mean by qigong? Qigong is a kind of physical and mental exercise method that takes breathing adjustment, body movement adjustment and consciousness activity adjustment as the means to strengthen the body and prevent and cure diseases for the purpose of prolonging life. Qigong is divided into dynamic gong and static gong. Dynamic qigong refers to qigong based on body movement; static qigong refers to qigong in which the body does not move and is adjusted by consciousness breathing. Qigong has a long history in China and has a long history. China is the birthplace of qigong. In ancient times, the contents of qigong were usually divided into spitting, performing qi, distributing qi, serving qi, guiding, alchemy, monasticism, sitting in meditation and so on. “Qigong” was not originally called qigong, but was a name that became widely used mainly from the 1950s. What are the main points of qigong practice? Qigong consists of three main points: adjusting the breath, i.e., adjusting the breathing; adjusting the form, i.e., adjusting the movement of the body and limbs; and adjusting the heart, i.e., adjusting the activity of the central nervous system. It is also believed that qigong has four main points: entering the stillness, keeping the mind, adjusting the breath, and movement. To enter the quiet means to think of nothing in the brain while relaxing the tension of the limbs; to keep the mind means to think only of a certain place or a certain scene in the body; to adjust the breath means to carefully regulate the breathing; and to move means the movement of the limbs of the form. In fact, the above two points, i.e., entering into silence and keeping the intention, are to tune the mind. Taoist priests often practice Guiding and Nei Dan Qigong. The Buddhist meditation and silent sitting also include qigong. Acupuncturists in Chinese medicine often use qigong to enhance the effectiveness of treatment. 2, qigong and meridians are closely related. What is the relationship between qigong and meridians? Qigong and the earliest works on meridians came from the “Mawangdui Palaeography” of the Western Han Dynasty, in which two parts of qigong literature, “Guiding Diagrams” and “But Gu and Eating Qi”, are related to the literature on meridians It is surprising that the “Yin Yang Eleven Chakra Moxibustion Sutra” is painted on the same silk. From the text, they and “silk” in several “meridians” writings of the era is also relatively close. In Ming Li Shizhen’s “Eight Channels of Qi Gong”, there are also descriptions of qigong, such as “the tunnel of the inner scene, only the counter-viewer can illuminate and inspect it”. Qigong is based on the theory of Chinese medicine meridians and is an important part of Chinese medicine meridian science, and the relationship between qigong and meridians is very close. 3. Qigong may improve the energy state of the molecules at the Yi Gu. According to the relevant experimental research and meridian energy transfer system theory: some fibrous protein networks mainly collagen fibers are widely distributed in the organism, and there is energy transfer between molecules within the fibrous protein molecules, and the corresponding information is transmitted while energy transfer, linking the internal and external surfaces of the organism. Qigong, by adjusting the breath and the shape and the heart, i.e., the action of entering the stillness and the intention to keep the breath, may increase the energy of the fibrous protein molecules at the meridian points of the organism, especially the energy state of the fibrous protein molecules there at the intention to keep, which can improve the energy of the fibrous protein molecules and produce energy transfer. As for how qigong will improve the energy state of fibrous protein molecules at the intentional points, we will continue to explore the goal. 4. The effect of qigong in expelling cold and heat. Can qigong repel cold and expel heat? Qigong may improve the energy state of the fibrous protein molecules at the consciousness-holding place, which may be the phenomenon of the so-called “intention to qi” in qigong. When the energy of the fibrous protein molecules is increased, the harmful substances originally bound to the fibrous protein molecules that can cause “cold” or “hot” sensations in the body will fall off and become free in the body, or rejoin elsewhere, or be expelled from the body. This may be the “expelling cold and heat” effect of qigong. The original movement state of fibrous protein is restored. Some harmful substances can sometimes show a neutral nature that is not cold or hot, so qigong can also drive away some neutral harmful substances, which are collectively referred to here as qigong’s effect of driving away cold and heat. 5. Qigong can unblock meridians and treat diseases. As mentioned above, when qigong is intentional, the energy of the fibrous protein molecules at the intentional place may be increased, and the harmful substances originally bound to the fibrous protein molecules of the body may be shed and dispelled, and the energy transfer pathways may be unblocked. That is to say, through the role of qigong, unblocking the meridians, that is, the movement of the meridians restored, the meridians are unblocking also unblocking the regulation of the organism up and down the internal and external skin visceral function, “through is not pain”. In this way, unblocking the meridians can treat some diseases. 6, qigong can prolong life. As we age, there can be kidney deficiency, or a long illness poor and kidney, physical function decay. Why will produce kidney deficiency energy transfer system theory that: with the growth of age, the original fibrous protein molecules bound in the body on the glycoprotein may be synthesized or lost, some harmful substances may be bound to it, fibrous protein molecules of energy transfer is limited, meridian movement is limited, the meridians are not smooth. Through the effect of qigong, the energy of fibrillar protein molecules will be increased, and the harmful substances originally bound to the fibrillar protein molecules in the energy transfer pathway of the body may fall off, and the energy transfer pathway of meridians will be unblocked. The energy transfer pathways of the meridians are unblocked, reducing or eliminating the production or effects of diseases, improving the decaying form, improving the state of kidney deficiency, and restoring one’s health for the purpose of prolonging one’s life. People who practice qigong regularly often stay healthy and can prolong their lives. 7, qigong and meridians belong to the same physiological category. The main point of qigong is to enter into quietness with the intention to guard the movement of breath, which are some common physiological functions. The development of qigong can further reveal some of the physiological functions of the organism. People usually have times when they quietly close their qi and think about a certain part of the body or a certain problem, and this is actually when qigong is involved. Qigong into the quiet intention to keep the breath must be mastered properly, usually people imagine a problem when not relaxed at all often prone to problems. Qigong is also the same, when the intention to guard also need to relax to relax a little, or may be prone to problems. Before the unveiling of qigong, qigong is still mysterious. With the development of modern science and technology, the time to reveal the essence of qigong will get closer and closer, and then people will be able to apply qigong for the health of human beings in a more comfortable manner. To sum up, qigong may drive away cold and heat and open meridians to treat diseases and prolong life. 8, the following we briefly introduce the practice of static qigong: practice static qigong does not require any action, first look for a safe place, such as lying in bed at home, or sitting on the sofa. (1) You can close your eyes slightly, think about your body and use your senses silently to check which part of your body is not relaxed, and if there is any part that is not relaxed, relax it. (2) you can think of your body’s qi sea point, in the belly of the eye 3cm below the place, can think, stop a few minutes, think again, this is the intention; (3) you have to seriously, carefully regulate their breathing movement, slowly and gently inhale, and slowly and gently exhale, if you can not do slowly breathing, you can simply close the breath for a few dozen seconds, you can also achieve the effect, this is Breath adjustment. The above is the simple practice of qigong. Practice qigong should be careful not to make mistakes.
