Tongcao has the effect of clearing heat, diuretic, and promoting the flow of Qi to the breast. Clinically, it is often used for damp-heat gonorrhea (increased frequency of urination, drenching and pain), edema and urination, and lactation. Note that pregnant women, qi and yin deficiency and pregnant women should be cautious.
Wang Buliuxing has the effect of diuretic, activating blood circulation, promoting menstruation and eliminating carbuncle in breastfeeding. It is suitable for postpartum lactation, dyspareunia, blood stasis, dysmenorrhea, breast carbuncle (red, swollen and painful breasts with unsmooth discharge of breast milk, eventually forming a suppurative disease), swelling and pain. Note that it is forbidden to be taken by people with blood deficiency and no blood stasis, and pregnant women.
