Vesicular conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva caused by a local immune response, and this condition is more common in young women or children. For the treatment of this condition, the preferred medications are glucocorticoid eye drops, including flumetron eye drops and tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops. Symptoms of the disease generally present as a slight foreign body sensation in the eye and vesicular changes in the conjunctiva can be seen on examination. Early symptoms are usually mild, but after the inflammation has reached the cornea, the symptoms become very pronounced, with significant photophobia and tearing. Therefore, early detection and treatment of this disease is recommended. Early use of glucocorticoid eye drops will basically restore the symptoms to normal in about 2-3 weeks.
