If the tooth is split in half, you should go to the hospital to check the degree of tooth splitting, and consider resin or crown restoration according to whether the splitting reaches the pulpal cavity, and if the splitting reaches the root tip, it is recommended to be extracted.
1. Resin or crown restoration. If the tooth has been split in half, and if it has not yet reached the pulpal cavity, resin can be used to repair the split portion. If the split portion has reached the pulpal cavity, root canal treatment is needed to repair the tooth with a crown after the stump.
2. Extraction. If the tooth is fractured in half after examination, but the fracture line has reached the root apex, partial or total extraction of the root will be considered.
It is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for x-ray examination and oral examination to avoid longitudinal fracture of the root of the tooth.
