Strawberries and teeth may sound like they don’t relate to each other, but they are actually a natural fruit for whitening teeth. The American magazine HEALTH recently reported that the malic acid contained in strawberries acts as an astringent, removing stains from the surface of the teeth. When mixed with baking powder, it becomes a natural tooth cleaner that removes stains left on the surface of the teeth by coffee, red wine and cola. While not a substitute for bleaching treatments at the dental office, it can “brighten your smile quickly and inexpensively”. Whitening your teeth with strawberries is very simple. 1, take a ripe strawberry and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder; 2, crush the strawberry into a char and mix it well with the baking powder; 3, use a soft toothbrush to apply the mixture evenly on the surface of the teeth; 4, after 5 minutes, brush off the mixture with toothpaste and rinse your mouth. If any strawberry seeds remain in the crevices of your teeth, you can remove them with dental floss. However, American dental experts also remind us not to use this method too often, otherwise the malic acid in strawberries will damage the enamel of the teeth, and once a week is more appropriate.
