What’s wrong with sudden frigidity in men?



Sudden frigidity in men may be due to excessive mental and psychological stress, hypothyroidism, prostatitis, and decreased androgen secretion.

1. Excessive mental and psychological stress: recent experience of unemployment, bereavement and other major events stimulation; lack of communication between husband and wife, long-term separation, conflict intensification and so on, resulting in feelings of decline; excessive fatigue, lack of rest and other factors may lead to men’s sudden sexual frigidity.

2. Hypothyroidism: Insufficient synthesis and secretion of thyroid hormones by thyroid cells leads to low metabolism of all tissues and organs in the body and a corresponding decrease in function, resulting in loss of libido, loss of appetite, drowsiness and fatigue.

3. Prostatitis: acute inflammation of the prostate gland after infection, resulting in localized oozing of the prostate gland, edema and other lesions, pain, frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary discomfort and other symptoms, sexual life may exacerbate these symptoms, and thus resistance to sexual life, sudden sexual frigidity.

4. Decrease in androgen secretion: testicular and adrenal cortex lesions, pituitary gland dysfunction and other factors lead to a decrease in the production of androgens, and thus frigidity.
