Puncturing the four suture points to treat chancre in children

Noma is usually seen in children aged 1 to 5 years. The main manifestations are depression, thinness, scorched hair, large belly and loose stools. It is mostly related to poor diet, such as eating more fatty and sweet foods and improper breastfeeding. It can also be caused by chronic diarrhea, chronic dysentery, intestinal parasites and other diseases that do not heal over time. Due to the improvement of living conditions, the incidence of the disease is now significantly reduced. However, clinical observation shows that there are still many children with this condition. There are some children who do not have chancre, but have slow growth, low diet, and are thin. The “four sutures” point is similar to the “picking four sutures” method. It is an external treatment for children’s chancre with the use of trigeminal needles (or other steel needles) to remove the subcutaneous fat, or to squeeze out the yellow mucus (there are also clear and dilute liquids leaking in large amounts), and then squeeze it with the fingers to make the liquid come out and see blood. It is a simple and effective treatment. The acupuncture point can not only treat chancre, but also improve the symptoms of digestive malabsorption, slow growth, low diet, and body wasting. In addition, some children may suffer from restlessness, restlessness at night, frequent abdominal pain, teeth grinding, heat in the heart of the hands and feet, yellowish complexion, dewy eyes during sleep, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, lack of transformation of grain, lack of warmth in the limbs, weakness in crying, and dryness of the mouth and lips. This method will also be effective. Generally every other day or every 2 or 3 days needle picking 1 time, generally needle picking 3-6 times, mucus gradually less, until no mucus, only see blood until. Modern medical research suggests that acupuncture four suture points can increase saliva secretion, improve the role of salivary amylase, intestinal content of pancreatic protease, pancreatic amylase, pancreatic lipase (digestive strength) increased. For malnutrition combined with rickets, acupuncture of the four sutures point was found to increase serum calcium and phosphorus and decrease alkaline phosphatase activity, resulting in an increase in calcium and phosphorus product, which helps the child’s bone development and growth. In general, children with chancre must avoid eating for one month, such as bean products, starchy products, cakes, peanuts, melon seeds, cold drinks, chocolate, etc., to avoid flatulence. During the treatment period, attention should be paid to a diet that is easy to digest, with more fresh vegetables and fruits, sufficient sleep, frequent outdoor activities, and more sunshine.
