Axillary lymph node display is an imaging term that refers to an enlarged lymph node in the armpit that is detected by the physician. If a patient’s lymph nodes are enlarged in the armpit during an ultrasound or imaging test, it may be indicated on the test report form when it is detected by the imaging. There are many reasons for axillary lymph nodes to be visible, the common reasons include infections such as bacterial, fungal, viral, tuberculosis and other infections; there may be malignant tumors, such as lymphoma, and female patients can also see breast cancer and so on. If axillary lymph nodes are found, relevant examinations can be performed according to the doctor’s advice to help confirm the diagnosis. If malignant tumor is suspected, surgical resection or puncture biopsy can be performed.
