How to Treat Flu Infection

Influenza is a self-limiting disease, and there is usually no effective treatment for influenza infection, and its treatment mainly includes general treatment, symptomatic treatment and antiviral treatment. 1. General treatment: After being infected with influenza virus, patients should take proper bed rest and drink more water. For some patients with serious conditions, such as high fever and shock, they should be given oxygen and rehydration therapy under the guidance of doctors. 2. Symptomatic treatment: If the patient has fever, ibuprofen and acetaminophen can be used for treatment; if the patient has cough and sputum, aminobromine hydrochloride and pentoxyverine can be used to relieve cough and resolve sputum. 3. Antiviral treatment: Commonly used antiviral drugs include oseltamivir, amantadine, amantadine, and so on. It is recommended that patients infected with influenza consult a doctor in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment, do not take medication privately to avoid adverse reactions.
