What to do with a girl’s coarse voice

For girls with coarse voices, an electronic laryngoscopy is recommended at the Department of Otolaryngology. The electronic laryngoscopy can see the color and surface of the vocal folds as well as the movement. Through this examination, if the vocal folds are seen to be normal without any abnormalities, the coarse voice may be congenital and related to genetic factors, and this is difficult to be treated by medication or surgical intervention. If the examination reveals congestion and hypertrophy of the vocal folds and growths on the surface of the vocal folds, the common ones are vocal fold polyps and vocal fold nodules. In this case, medication and surgery can be used to treat the condition. If the vocal cords are hypertrophic and congested, it is recommended that the patient take more sound breaks, can do nebulization treatment, and can take symptomatic treatment such as Golden Voice Open Sound Capsules and Huang’s Rattle Pills. If long vocal cord polyp, it is recommended to do vocal cord polyp removal surgery. Through the above treatment, the patient can get some relief from the coarse voice.
