In 2008, the 7th edition of the textbook of Obstetrics and Gynecology for undergraduates canceled the name of “cervical erosion” and replaced it with the physiological phenomenon of “ectopic cervical columnar epithelium”, which is a normal physiological phenomenon. The main reasons are: 1, unhygienic sex life, repeated episodes of vaginitis, inflammation and long-term stimulation of the cervix, which leads to cervical columnar epithelial ectasia, the formation of cervical celiac disease; 2, too many abortions, resulting in damage to the cervix, which can also lead to cervical columnar epithelial ectasia, resulting in cervical celiac disease.
