Renal smoky cell carcinoma cannot be graded by its own histopathological typing, but can be staged according to tumor size and lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis. Where T represents tumor size, N represents regional lymph node involvement and M represents distant metastasis.
Clinical staging of renal cell carcinoma: Stage I: T1, N0, M0. Stage II: T2, N0, M0. Stage III: T1/2, N1, M0; T3, N0/1, M0. Stage IV: T4, any N, M0; any T, any N, M1.
Tumor <7CM belongs to T1 stage, tumor <10CM, >7CM belongs to T2a stage, tumor >10CM and does not exceed the kidney belongs to T2b stage, if the tumor exceeds the kidney and invades the peripheral vascular tissues but does not exceed the perirenal adipose fascia it belongs to T3 stage, and the tumor invades the perirenal fascia belongs to T4 stage.
When the lymph nodes were not involved, it was indicated by N0. As the degree and extent of lymph node involvement increased, it was denoted by N1~N2. The absence of distant metastasis is indicated by M0, and the presence of distant metastasis is indicated by M1.
For patients with renal smoky-colored cell carcinoma, it is recommended to consult regular hospitals in time and carry out targeted treatment after clarifying the staging under the guidance of doctors.
