Can I take a bath if I have internal heat?

Internal heat can be bathed.
Internal heat is the name of a syndrome in Chinese medicine. Internal heat is divided into solid heat and deficiency heat.
Solid heat manifests itself in the form of heartburn, red face, thirst, preference for cold drinks, mouth and tongue sores, bad breath, dry mouth, irritability, yellow and red urine, constipation, red tongue, yellow moss and other symptoms. Solid heat is usually caused by prolonged spicy diet, alcoholism, or prolonged emotional upset, or the feeling of external evils and other factors.
Solid heat is usually treated by clearing heat and fire (removing heat and fire from the body), and heat-clearing medicines such as Scutellaria baicalensis and forsythia can be used to remove heat from the body after diagnosis.
Deficiency heat manifests itself in the form of warmth in the hearts of the hands and feet, night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), emaciation, thirst and liking for hot beverages, flushing of the cheekbones (reddish color of the zygomatic bone area on both sides of the face), and a red tongue with no moss or little moss, among other symptoms. Deficiency Heat is usually caused by prolonged illness, over-exertion, loss of blood, and indiscretion in sexual intercourse.
Deficiency heat is usually treated by nourishing yin and clearing heat (nourishing yin essence and removing heat). Yin-nourishing drugs such as Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata and Rhizoma Zizoma Polygonati are used to dispel deficiency heat after identification of the symptoms.
Bathing will not aggravate or affect the actual heat or deficiency heat in the body, so internal heat can be bathed.
