Medical explanation of mastocytosis

Mammary gland hyperplasia is a common and prevalent disease in women, mostly due to an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone in the body. Mastocytosis is a benign hyperplasia of breast tissue that can occur around the ducts with cyst formation of varying sizes, or within the ducts, manifesting as papillary hyperplasia of varying degrees with dilation of the cystic ducts of the breast. Occurring within the lobular parenchyma, they are mainly epithelioid hyperplasia of the milk ducts and alveoli. The more typical clinical presentation is premenstrual breast tenderness with periodic episodes that are closely related to the menstrual cycle and often worsen before menstruation. The history of the disease is usually long and develops very slowly. Very few patients can develop nipple discharge, which is yellow-green or bloody, or occasionally colorless plasma. Therefore, patients who have mastocytosis must go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment.
