Can you wash your face with table salt?

Edible salt is generally not allowed to wash the face. Some people have a certain inflammatory reaction on the face, or an exudative reaction, and can use cold compresses of physiological saline. But not with physiological saline to wash your face, much less with edible salt to wash your face. Because there are some halogens in edible salt, such as edible iodine, and edible iodine has a certain degree of light absorption, or easily produce photosensitive reactions. So after using edible salt to wash your face, it may induce some photosensitive dermatitis on the face, or produce some polymorphic sun rash, as well as some dermatitis reactions on the face. It is not reliable or scientific to use edible salt to wash your face. If you really need edible salt to wash your face, you need to use it under the guidance of a doctor.
