Unsteady walking without any abnormality on MRI may be due to hypotension, hypoglycemia and vestibular dysfunction.
1. Hypotension: When the ileocardial blood volume decreases or the blood volume decreases due to sudden rising and walking, large amount of sweating without timely replenishment of water, etc., hypotension will occur, which is typically manifested as dizziness, darkness in front of the eyes, and unsteady walking.
2. Hypoglycemia: prolonged absence of food, prolonged exposure to high temperature or exercise, overdose of hypoglycemic drugs and other factors will cause a transient drop in blood glucose level in the body, resulting in weakness, unsteady walking, and in severe cases, coma and other manifestations.
3. Vestibular dysfunction: It is mainly seen in functional vestibular disorder, or carotid artery stenosis and other reasons leading to insufficient blood supply to the vestibule. Vestibular dysfunction is caused by vestibular impairment, which will lead to unsteady walking and dizziness.
If symptoms such as unsteady walking and falling occur for a long time, or if you suspect hypotension, hypoglycemia, vestibular dysfunction and other diseases, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
