The child’s dandruff and crusting, may be seborrheic dermatitis, scalp psoriasis or ringworm of the head and other diseases, the treatment includes general treatment, local treatment, systemic treatment.
1. Seborrheic dermatitis: it occurs in the seborrheic area, when there is scalp damage, the scalp can be thick and flaky, adhering to greasy scabs, and there is obvious inflammation under the scabs, in addition to paying attention to cleanliness, moisturizing, and oil control, it can also be applied with sulfur, salicylic acid, or use of ketoconazole containing detergents to wash the hair; when there is a fungal infection, systematic application of itraconazole can be applied to treat the disease.

Scalp psoriasis: when psoriasis occurs on the scalp, there will be thick scales, and the hair can be in bundles, and it can be treated with local topical glucocorticoid creams or ointments, such as mometasone furoate cream, etc. Other topical medicines, such as vitexin cream, carbotriol or tacrolimus, etc., also have obvious efficacy; and systematic medicines can be chosen, such as methotrexate, cyclosporine, vitexin and other medicines.
3. Tinea capitis: scalp due to dermatophyte infection, there can be scales and crusts, pay attention to cut the hair, use ketoconazole shampoo to wash the hair, external application of iodine tincture, biphenylbenzazole solution, terbinafine cream and other medicines; also oral itraconazole or terbinafine treatment, and pay attention to the disinfection of daily necessities and so on.
