Can children with runny noses get vaccinations?

You can’t give your child a vaccination if he or she has a runny nose. If your baby has a fever, runny nose, cough and other cold symptoms, you cannot get the vaccination when he or she is not completely well. Although the vaccination is to prevent illness, it does not mean that your baby can get the vaccination at any time. Babies should not have an empty stomach before each vaccination and should not be fed milk or water within 30 minutes after the vaccination to avoid adverse reactions such as vomiting. Do not leave the hospital after half an hour to see if there is any redness, swelling, fever, baby discomfort and other abnormalities at the injection site, and if so, let the doctor see if it is a normal reaction before leaving the hospital. After returning home from the vaccination, feed your baby more warm water. Always observe if your baby has fever or cold symptoms, and take your baby to ask the vaccination doctor in time. If the condition is mild, it should be a normal reaction.
