Iodine 125 particle implantation can be applied to such patients. It is a new technology of advanced in vivo irradiation radiation therapy introduced in recent years. Iodine 125 particle implantation has a wide range of indications, including: chest cancer: lung cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, etc.; digestive tract cancer: liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, bile duct cancer, rectal cancer, etc.; genitourinary system cancer: prostate cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, vaginal cancer, etc.; head and neck cancer: tongue cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, maxillary sinus cancer, parotid cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, tonsil cancer, etc. In addition, for primary cases that cannot be removed surgically, such as giant liver cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, etc.; or those who have recurrence after surgery and are difficult to operate again, such as multiple metastatic tumors of lung; cases where patients are unwilling to undergo radical surgery, such as thyroid cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, uterine fibroid, etc. The radiation emitted from a radiation source has a certain amount of energy, which can destroy cellular tissues and thus cause harm to the human body.
