The wound of cryptorchidism surgery will return to normal in about 1 week. Usually the incision length is about 4-6cm, i.e. about 4-5 stitches, and the wound can be changed once every 1 day after surgery. If there is infection, obvious redness, swelling, pain, etc., or purulent discharge from the wound, it is necessary to extend the stitch removal time appropriately, which can be postponed to about 10-14 days. If no signs of infection are found, the healing is smooth, and the patient does not have any discomfort, the sutures can be removed on the 7th postoperative day. After the sutures are removed, complete recovery is indicated by observing no wound dehiscence or other signs for about 1-2 days. Usually it takes about 1 week for the wound to recover before it is allowed to see water, i.e. 2 weeks after the surgery before it is allowed to wash or shower.
