Acne is medically known as pimples, and its formation includes several components: 1. High androgen levels at puberty. In the case of high androgen levels, the sebaceous glands secrete a lot; 2. The sebum secretion is high forming an increase in sebum. The sebum is normally discharged from the mouth of the hair follicle because the sebaceous gland ducts are open to the hair follicle and are excreted from the mouth of the follicle to the surface of the skin. Patients with acne are unable to excrete sebum normally to the skin surface because the follicle ducts are keratinized and block the cuticle outlet; 3. The inflammation occurs and worsens because of the infection of Propionibacterium acnes.
