The thickness of the endometrium varies from one menstrual cycle to another. Normally, the thickness of the endometrium is between 5-10mm. If it is around the time of ovulation, 7mm of endometrium is normal, if it is in the premenstrual period, 7mm of endometrium is not normal. Under normal circumstances, the endometrium is about 10mm in the premenstrual period in order to have a normal period. If the endometrium is 7mm, it may not be able to make the period come normally. If the endometrium is 7mm thick after menopause, it is also not normal. The endometrium should not exceed 5mm after menopause, and if it exceeds 5mm, it may lead to vaginal bleeding, which may be caused by endometritis or endometrial cancer.
