No study has yet shown that Jiawei Xihuang Wan can treat Qi stagnation, phlegm obstruction and blood stasis. 1. Jiawei Xihuang Pill: composed of myrrh, frankincense and other medicines, it has the efficacy of detoxifying and dispersing toxins, subduing swellings and relieving pain (eliminating swelling and pain), and is used in the treatment of carbuncle (a kind of poisonous sores, occurring as an acute suppurative disease on the surface of the body, the limbs, and the internal organs) sores and ulcers, multiple abscesses, inflammation of the lymph nodes, and chilly pus and ulcers, and so on. This drug has no therapeutic efficacy against Qi stagnation, phlegm obstruction, or blood stasis. The adverse effects of this drug are not known. Pregnant women should not take this drug and athletes should be warned to take it with caution. 2. The treatment of qi stagnation is generally based on liver detoxification, considering the use of Chaihu Shuohe San and other treatments. The adverse effects and contraindications of this drug are not clear. 3. The treatment of phlegm obstruction is generally based on resolving phlegm and lowering the rebelliousness, and the use of Cirrhosporin Ochre Soup should be considered. The adverse effects and contraindications of this drug are not clear. 4. The treatment of blood stasis generally focuses on activating blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis, and the use of Hematophagus and Blood Stasis Tang should be considered. The adverse effects of this drug are not clear, and it is contraindicated in pregnant women.
