Clinical orthopedic surgery is generally divided into four levels, from simple to complex: 1. Level I surgery mainly refers to debridement, surgical repositioning of dislocated limb fractures, or bone traction. 2. Level II surgery mainly refers to traumatic tendon repair, simple open fracture management, simple surgical trauma management, and other conditions. 3. Level III surgery mainly refers to complex internal fixation of limb and backbone fractures and intra-articular fractures, surgery for Complex hand trauma management, orthopedic surgery of bones, and lesion removal of large joints.4. Level 4 surgery mainly refers to surgery of the cervical spine area, such as performing anterior and posterior surgery of the cervical spine, hemi- or total joint replacement, or revision surgery, and orthopedic surgery of scoliosis, all of which belong to level 4 surgery.
