What are the muscles that have the effect of tilting the head?

The muscles that have the effect of tilting the head are mainly the sternocleidomastoid muscle, the head and half spine muscle, the head clamping muscle, the head after the big, small rectus muscle and the head oblique muscle and so on. 1. Sternocleidomastoid muscle: one side of the contraction makes the head tilted to the same side, face turned to the opposite side; both sides of the contraction at the same time can make the head tilt back. 2. Cephalic semispinalis muscle: when contracted bilaterally, it can make the spine extend backward, especially the head and neck. 3. Cephalic spine: when contracted bilaterally, it can straighten the head and neck; when contracted unilaterally, it can make the head and neck flex and rotate to the same side. 4. Large and small rectus muscles of the back of the head: the two muscles play the same role, one side of the contraction of the head to turn to the same side, and both sides of the contraction of the head tilt back. 5. Head obliques: one side contracts to turn the head to the opposite side and to the same side of lateral flexion, and both sides contract to tilt the head back. 6. Head downward trapezius: contraction on one side causes the head to turn to the same side and flex; contraction on both sides causes the head to tilt back.
