What to do with high estradiol

If estradiol is high during the periovulatory phase or luteal phase after ovulation, high estradiol is normal and does not require special treatment. If estradiol is higher than the 2nd-4th day of menstruation, it indicates a decrease in ovarian function. If the patient has fertility requirements, it is recommended to try to conceive as soon as possible; if the patient does not have fertility requirements, there is no way to improve the situation. If the high estradiol is caused by ovarian tumor, it is recommended to check the gynecological ultrasound for clear diagnosis. If the gynecological ultrasound indicates ovarian mass, it is recommended to remove the ovarian mass or the affected adnexa.
