How do you know if the placenta is anterior or posterior?

To know whether the placenta is anterior or posterior wall can be checked by ultrasound. According to the healthcare guidelines before and during pregnancy, 7 to 11 prenatal visits are routinely required during pregnancy, of which the fetus is screened for early trimester malformations between 11 and 13+6 weeks of pregnancy, and this ultrasound and subsequent ultrasounds should routinely state the relationship of the placenta to the uterus, whether it is located in the anterior wall, the posterior wall, or at the bottom of the uterus. Early pregnancy malformation screening also requires measurement of the fetal nuchal translucency, the thickening of which is often thought to be associated with chromosomal abnormalities and poor pregnancy outcomes. This ultrasound allows for early detection, diagnosis, and management of more serious malformations during pregnancy, and also requires a more stringent requirement for week of gestation, instrumentation, and ultrasonographers.
