The five transmission points of the Foot Solar Bladder meridian are the Zhiyin point, the Foot Tonggu point, the Shuobiao point, the Kunlun point, and the Huizhong point.
The five acupoints are arranged in the order of wells, Xing, Lung, Jing, and He, from the ends of the limbs to the elbows and knees.
1. Zhi Yin point, a well point, is located on the lateral side of the terminal segment of the small toes of the foot, 0.1 inch from the angle of the root of the toenail. It is used for treating fetal malposition, stagnant labor, headache, eye pain, nasal congestion, epistaxis (nosebleed).
2. Foot Tonggu point, a Xing point, is located on the lateral side of the tarsus, in the depression below the front of the fifth metatarsophalangeal joint. It is mainly used for treating headache, stringy eyes, strong neck, epilepsy and epistaxis.
3. Shu Biao Xing Xing, a transmission point, is located in the metatarsal area, proximal to the fifth metatarsophalangeal joint, at the junction of the heart of the hand and the dorsum of the hand, and the heart of the foot and the dorsum of the foot. It is used for treating headache, strong neck, dizziness, lumbar and leg pain, and epilepsy.
4. Kunlun point, a meridian point, is located in the ankle area, in the depression between the tip of the outer ankle and the Achilles tendon. It is used for treating headache, dizziness, strong neck, lumbosacral pain, heel swelling and pain, difficult labor, malaria.
5. The Committee Center Point, a combined point, is located in the posterior region of the knee, at the midpoint of the popliteal transverse stripe. It is used for treating lumbar and back pain, lower limb impotence paralysis (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs), abdominal pain, acute vomiting and diarrhea, cryptorchid rash, tannin (an acute infectious disease in which the skin can be seen to be reddened as if it has been coated with pigment), urinary dyspareunia (unsmoothness of urination), and enuresis.
