Malignant lymphoma is a tumor that originates from hematopoietic lymphatic tissue. It is characterized by painless, progressive lymphatic tissue hyperplasia, especially superficial lymph node enlargement, often accompanied by hepatosplenomegaly, anemia, fever and cachexia in advanced stages. According to the characteristics of tumor cells, disease initiation, involvement of tissues and organs outside the lymph nodes, disease progression and response to treatment, lymphoma can be divided into two categories: Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Although there is no name for malignant lymphoma in TCM, the description and treatment of lymph node enlargement is not uncommon. Scrofula” refers to enlarged lymph nodes, “tendon scrofula”, “loss of glory”, “stone gangrene”, and “malignant nucleus”. “Although the clinical symptoms are different, the common features are unchanged skin color, no pain and no itching, all of them belong to the category of Yin gangrene in Chinese medicine. The cause of this disease is either caused by external evil or internal injury. External evil is mostly due to cold and cold, while internal injury is mostly due to emotional discomfort and prolonged strain, resulting in loss of lung circulation, loss of spleen health, liver qi stagnation and kidney yin deficiency. On this basis, phlegm and dampness stagnation, stagnation of Qi and blood stasis, toxic accumulation of lumps, and long-term depletion of fluids and other pathological changes occur. Therefore, the pathology of this disease is characterized by deficiency and stagnation of phlegm and blood, and the disease is characterized by deficiency. The focus of the disease mechanism is phlegm and toxicity, and the organs involved are mainly the lung, liver, spleen and kidney. Chinese medicine treats the disease with certain characteristics based on evidence-based treatment, generally divided into the following six types of treatment: 1, cold phlegm stagnation often manifests as multiple swollen nuclei in the neck, under the ear or axilla, groin, no pain, no itching, skin color as usual, hard as stone, cold form and limbs, mostly not accompanied by fever; the tongue is light with thin white coating, and the pulse is sunken and weak. The formula is Yanghe Tang with addition and subtraction: 15 g of rehmannia, 3 g of cinnamon, 3 g of ginger, 3 g of ephedra, 9 g of deer horn gum (melted), 6 g of white mustard seed, 12 g of summer cress, 6 g of soapberry, 30 g of raw oyster (first decoction), 30 g of corrugated seed (first decoction), 15 g of ground turtle worms, 6 g of licorice. 2. Qi stagnation and phlegm often manifests as multiple swollen nuclei in the neck, under the ear, or in the groin of the axilla, without pain or itching, with unchanging skin color. Dizziness and tinnitus, bitter mouth and dry throat, irritability; red tongue, slightly yellow fur, and string pulse. The formula is based on the following formula: Chai Hu (12 g), Bai Shao (10 g), Citrus Aurantium (10 g), Yu Jin (10 g), Xiang Shen (10 g), Qing Pi (10 g), Dan Pi (12 g), Gardenia (10 g), Tu Bei Mu (12 g), Hai Zao (12 g), Bai Hua Shi Tong Cao (45 g), Di Zu Xiang (15 g), Sheng Oyster (30 g), Xia Ku Cao (12 g), Gan Cao (6 g). 3. Liver fire offending the lung often manifests as multiple swollen nuclei in the neck, under the ear, or in the axilla. Multiple swollen nuclei in the groin, pain in the chest, cough, irritability, dry mouth and throat; red tongue, thin white or slightly yellow coating, and string pulse. This formula is based on the following formula: Qing Dai 10 g (decoction), Hai Clam Powder 6 g (decoction), Sang Bai Pi 12 g, Di Bark 12 g, Xiang Bei Mu 10 g, Kun Bu 12 g, Xuan Shen 12 g, Xia Ku Cao 12 g, Sheng Oyster 20 g (first decoction), Scutellaria Baicalensis 10 g. 4. Blood stasis and Y accumulation often manifest as multiple swollen nuclei in the neck, under the ear, or in the groin of the axilla, emaciation, and abdominal masses. The tongue is dark or has stasis with yellow coating, and the pulse is stringent and astringent. The formula is based on turtle nail decoction pill with reduction: turtle nail 30 g (first decoction), red peony 12 g, radix ginseng 24 g, danshen 12 g, prunus ginseng 30 g, Chuanxiong 12 g, trigon 10 g, curcuma longa 10 g, panax ginseng 10 g, centipede 3, ground turtle worm 15 g, white flowered snake tongue herb 30 g, betel nut 9 g. 5, liver and kidney yin deficiency often manifests as a swollen nucleus in the neck, hard as a stone, five hearts bothered by heat, waist and knees i soft; the tongue is dark or with stasis and yellow coating, the pulse is thin. Red tongue with little coating and fine pulse.
