Does saffron cause fire?

Saffron, or saffron, is the dried stigma of saffron, family Iridaceae. It is sweet in taste, flat in nature, and belongs to the heart and liver meridians. It has the effects of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), cooling the blood and removing toxins (referring to the treatment of blood-heat and toxins in the body), and relieving depression and tranquilizing the mind. Saffron is used in treating menstrual obstruction in the abdomen (women with lumps in the lower abdomen), post-partum stasis, warm-heat poisonous spots (warm-heat poisonous evils invading the body resulting in blotches and patches on the skin), melancholic ruffling, palpitations and frenzy. The adverse effects of this drug are not clear. It should be used with caution in pregnant women. Saffron is calm in nature, and standardized use of the drug will not cause fire. If there is a need for medication, it is recommended that it be used under the guidance of a professional physician, not blindly self-medication.
