What not to eat with stomach polyps

Gastric polyps try not to eat greasy, spicy, cold and other foods, according to the size, number and nature of the polyp to consider whether to remove early. Gastric polyps are elevated lesions on the surface of the gastric mucosa, which usually have no obvious symptoms. A few patients may have symptoms such as loss of appetite, acid reflux, stomach pain, and nausea and vomiting if they occur in the pylorus or cardia. Greasy, spicy, cold and other foods can affect the digestion and peristaltic function of the stomach, triggering acid reflux, stomach pain, nausea, abdominal distension and other symptoms. For patients with gastric polyps, eating such foods may lead to the emergence or aggravation of uncomfortable symptoms. For multiple polyps, large single polyps, family history of gastric cancer, and polyps with malignant tendency, early surgical removal should be considered, and endoscopic resection is an option. For dietary considerations and treatment of gastric polyps, consultation is recommended.
