Lumbar disc herniation with lumbar belt is useful

Lumbar disc herniation is useful with a lumbar back protector. A lumbar support has four effects: limiting spinal cord activity, maintaining spinal alignment, reducing pain and protecting muscle tissue, and self-recognition of muscles. Wearing a lumbar support to limit spinal movement will reduce muscle spasm in the low back and the stimulation of the peripheral nerves by the herniated disc on the posterior longitudinal ligament and the fibrous ring, thus reducing peripheral edema and promoting tissue healing. If you are in the acute phase, you can wear it for 3-4 weeks, and don’t wear it for a while after the symptoms disappear. If the chronic period is recurrent, lumbar support should be used intermittently to avoid long-term use leading to disuse atrophy of the lumbar back muscles, while using lumbar support to strengthen the functional exercise of the lumbar back muscles.
