After male nipple reduction, hospitalization is required for observation, usually for about seven days. In the first three days after the surgery, there will be severe swelling, redness and pain in the nipple area; four to six days will be the rapid swelling period, and the seventh day is usually the day of removing the stitches; therefore, men need to stay in the hospital for seven days, and can only leave the hospital after the stitches are removed. In summary, after nipple reduction surgery, men need to be hospitalized, and if they have any discomfort during the period, they need to inform the doctor in time to deal with it.
