How long before you can exercise with your uterus removed

Taking out the uterus usually means a hysterectomy. Exercise is usually allowed about 3 months after hysterectomy. After hysterectomy, the patient’s body is relatively weak and it is not advisable to resume exercise within a short period of time in order to prevent the vaginal stump incision from splitting open after the operation, which may lead to bleeding. Within 3 months after surgery, the wound is in the stage of repair, if the patient does some exercises to increase the abdominal pressure, it may lead to the appearance of pelvic organs prolapse or bleeding. Therefore, it is usually recommended that after 3 months of review, if the patient recovers well, he/she can gradually resume exercise workout, but be careful to avoid too much strenuousness in order to facilitate the recovery. If patients experience abdominal pain and other discomfort during exercise, it is recommended that they go to the hospital in time, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or standardized treatment.
