Eszopiclone take a piece of sleep how long

Eszopiclone is a sedative-hypnotic drug commonly used in clinical practice. The duration of sleep after oral administration of this drug is related to the specific condition of the patient and cannot be generalized. Eszopiclone is a benzodiazepine sleeping drug, which can inhibit different parts of the central nervous system and has anxiolytic, hypnotic and anti-seizure effects. Usually patients can fall asleep 20-60 minutes after taking this drug. If the patient has mild insomnia, sleep can last for about 5-8 hours. If the patient has chronic insomnia, or if there are long-term oral sleeping pills, the duration of action of this drug will be relatively short, usually 3-4 hours. Since eszopiclone is a sedative and sleeping drug, long-term application can cause a certain dependence, so it is recommended to follow medical advice. In addition, eszopiclone can pass through the placental barrier and affect the fetus, and it can also be present in breast milk, so pregnant women and nursing mothers should not use this drug.
