What’s wrong with lung nodules and coughing at night?

Nodules in the lungs do not usually cause nocturnal cough. If patients develop nocturnal cough, they need to be aware of the following diseases, i.e. coughing degenerative asthma, cardiac insufficiency, severe pneumonia, etc. Nodules in the lungs can be classified as benign nodules, malignant nodules, or nodules caused by pathogenic bacteria. Clinical symptoms of benign nodules are not obvious, while malignant nodules sometimes present with clinical manifestations such as cough, sputum, fever, coughing up blood, dyspnea, and wasting, but there is no significant difference between daytime and nighttime symptoms. Nodules caused by pathogenic bacteria may present with respiratory symptoms, such as cough, sputum, fever, shortness of breath, etc., again without any worsening of the cough at night. If a patient has a nocturnal cough and nodules in the lungs, we need to actively seek medical attention, complete the relevant tests, make a definitive diagnosis, and provide targeted treatment.
