The method of self-testing lung function generally includes blowing test, breath-holding test, stair-climbing test and exercise test and other simple cardiopulmonary function tests.
1. Breath blowing test: When you are in a calm state, you can inhale fully and exhale quickly. If you exhale fully within 3 seconds, especially within the first second, the more you exhale, the better your lung function is; on the contrary, if you exhale less, your lung function is relatively insufficient.
2. Breath-holding test: In the resting state, the lung function is tested by breath-holding, if the breath-holding time can reach more than 30 seconds, the lung function is relatively adequate.
3. Climbing test: If you can climb up to the 3rd floor without obvious gasping, your lung function is relatively good.
4. Exercise test: when the body allows, the exercise test can be conducted by walking or running in place, the pulse rate can reach between 100 and 120 beats per minute during exercise, and the heart rate can be restored in a relatively quick time after stopping exercise, then the heart function is proved to be good, but the use of the exercise test is not generally recommended at this stage.
If there are obvious symptoms in normal times, then you should seek medical advice in time and under the guidance of your doctor to have a professional lung function test.
