Changqiang point, located in the perineum area, below the tailbone, at the midpoint of the line between the end of the tailbone and the anus. Changqiang point belongs to the Dugu vein and has the effect of nurturing yin and submerging yang, benefiting qi and fixing prolapse. The main treatment for diarrhea, constipation, blood in the stool, hemorrhoids, prolapse and other diseases. Needling needs to be immediately in front of the tailbone to stab obliquely 0.5-1 inch. It is not advisable to stab straight, so as not to injure the rectum. It can also be used with moxa cone moxibustion for 5-10 strokes, or moxa stick moxibustion for 5-10 minutes. It can be used with Zhongshi acupoint, Large Intestine acupoint, Small Intestine acupoint, Hegu acupoint and Ququan acupoint to treat dysentery; with Small Intestine acupoint to treat dysuria; with Fate acupoint and Kidney acupoint to treat five hemorrhoids and blood in the stool; with Baihui acupoint and Gongsun acupoint to treat prolapse of the anus; and with SiSiOu acupoint, ZhongJi acupoint, HengYang acupoint, DaHe acupoint, SanyinJiao acupoint and Blood Sea acupoint to treat itching of the pubic area.
