The best time to treat hair loss

In recent years, the rapid economic development, men’s image requirements are increasingly high, especially just into middle-aged successful people, career development is smooth, but the top hair is thinning. Many people are troubled by this, seeking medical advice, and even seeking what the prescriptions, ancient methods, but not many people know how to go to the regular hospital, so that the best time to treat missed. The author has met many male pattern baldness patients, they have tried many methods, but little effect, until the hair has been left few hospital treatment, then the use of drugs can only make the hair no longer fall out, there is no way to return to the dense. So, when is the best time to treat hair loss? To answer this question, we must first understand the growth of hair and the causes of hair loss. Hair grows from follicles in the scalp, goes through anagen phase (3 years), regression phase (about 3 weeks) and resting phase (about 3 months), and then sheds. Normal people can shed 0-100 hairs per day, and the hair in each part of the body is shed and regenerated at different times in a scattered manner, and the shedding and growth are in a dynamic balance, so it will not cause the reduction of hair or the formation of baldness. Hair growth is influenced by genetics, health, nutrition and hormone levels. If a person is in his prime and hair loss increases significantly, or if he loses more than 100 hairs per day on average and continues for more than 2 to 3 months, this may be pathological and the cause needs to be identified early and treated correctly. There are many types of male pattern baldness, and the most common is male pattern baldness (also known as seborrheic alopecia, androgenetic alopecia, premature baldness, etc.) accounting for more than 90%, mainly due to genetic factors and the elevated concentration of a substance in the scalp, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a metabolite of testosterone (T) and is induced by the enzyme 5α-reductase. It binds to androgen receptors in the scalp and enters the nucleus to control the hair growth process, shortens the hair growth cycle, causes progressive miniaturization (degeneration) of the affected hair follicles, decreases the proportion of hair follicles in the anagen and regression phases, and makes it difficult for the degenerated hair follicles to grow hair again. At present, the common grading method for male pattern baldness internationally is Hamilton-Norwood grading, which is divided into 7 levels and 13 types of hair loss, of which levels 1 to 5 belong to light and moderate hair loss, because the hair follicles have not completely atrophied, there is still a chance to recover from this treatment; level 6 or above belongs to severe hair loss, most of the hair follicles have atrophied, and it is difficult to get satisfactory results from this treatment. In addition, male pattern baldness is more common in men. In addition, male pattern baldness is mostly seen in men aged thirty or forty, but there are also baldness at the age of about eighteen. If not treated in time, the longer the time, the more serious the hair loss, the more difficult the treatment will be. Therefore, if you suffer from male pattern baldness, you should go to a dermatologist at the early stage of the disease for a proper diagnosis and use drugs such as 5α-reductase inhibitors (e.g. Bofax) under the guidance of the doctor for comprehensive treatment. Correct diagnosis and early treatment is the best “prescription” to get back a full head of hair!
