Recently, we have welcomed a new surgical aid, which is the da Vinci Surgical Robot! The da Vinci Surgical Robot is an intelligent surgical platform that is widely used worldwide and is suitable for minimally invasive surgery in general surgery, urology, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatric surgery, etc. The da Vinci Surgical Robot is the only intelligent endoscopic minimally invasive surgical system approved by FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for surgical clinical treatment in the world today. The three-dimensional, 1080i HD, 10 times magnification imaging eyepiece, blood vessels, ureter, lymph nodes and other tissues can be easily identified to ensure efficient surgery, and the bilateral infrared sensing and audition functions ensure more safety. It can also filter out manual tremor and make full use of the existing surgical experience for surgery. The operating handle fully mimics the 7 degrees of freedom of the human wrist with a range of motion far greater than even life, and is computer-controlled, synchronized 1300 times per second while designed with many cues to assist in surgery. It is more flexible than human hands in narrow anatomical areas. For obese patients, traditional open surgery and ordinary laparoscopic surgery have the disadvantages of long surgical incisions, large trauma, inadequate exposure of the surgical field and difficulty in suturing, with relatively more postoperative complications. The da Vinci robot surgical platform breaks through the limits of human eyes and hands to enlarge the surgical field, and the main surgeon can use the robot to rotate 360° to suture, tie knots and stop bleeding under 3D view, doing it with ease in the narrow space originally inaccessible to hands and eyes, and with high stability and accuracy, bringing gospel to obese patients.
