This product can also be used to treat women with typhoid fever (illness caused by feeling cold), heat entering the blood chamber, as well as malaria, jaundice, and other internal injuries and miscellaneous illnesses that are seen in the above symptoms of Shaoyang disease. In this formula, Chai Hu is light, clear, ascending and dispersing, dispersing evils and transmitting the surface; Scutellaria baicalensis is good at clearing the phase fire of Shao Yang, and together with Chai Hu, one disperses and the other clears the evils of Shao Yang; Bianxia can harmonize the stomach and reduce the rebelliousness of the stomach, dispersing the knots and eliminating the lumps; Ginger and Jujubes can help to benefit the stomach qi, generate fluid and harmonize the camping and defense.
