The following materials are used for filling: i. Clove oil zinc oxide, mostly used for temporary closure of cavity, with soothing and analgesic effect on pulp, brittle texture, maintenance time around 7-30 days; ii. Zinc phosphate cementum, irritating to pulp, easily dissolved by saliva, mostly used for cushioning of dead pulp teeth; iii. Zinc polycarboxylate cementum is usually used for cushioning of living pulp teeth and bonding of full crown; iv. Glass ion cementum Strong bonding, the color is close to the tooth, with certain aesthetics, and can release fluorine ions to enhance the caries resistance of teeth; V. Silver amalgam is mostly used for filling of posterior teeth, the color is metallic, the surface layer is easy to be oxidized and blackened, and the wear resistance is high, which can maintain the use for more than 10 years.
