The treatment of penetrating cardiac trauma is as follows: 1, penetrating cardiac trauma should be firstly treated with active anti-shock therapy; 2, if combined with acute cardiac compression, firstly, the cardiac compression should be lifted immediately. Anesthesia is appropriate to take endotracheal intubation and intravenous compound anesthesia. According to the path of penetrating injury and the injury, the incision should be appropriate to expose the heart well as the goal, such as taking a median sternotomy, anterolateral incision, and transverse sternal extension incision if necessary. If the cardiac fissure is relatively small, direct sutures can be applied with finger pressure. If the heart fracture is relatively large and direct suturing is difficult, extracorporeal circulation should be established immediately for cardiac repair.
