Multiple strong echogenic spots, up to about 0.5cm x 0.5cm, can be detected in the prostate gland, which means that multiple strong echogenic spots are found by prostate ultrasound, and the common causes are prostate calcification and prostate stones. Healthy prostate glands are homogeneous in texture by ultrasound and do not form echogenic spots. When prostate calcification and stones are present, the hardness of these tissues is different from that of normal glands, and strong echogenic spots are formed in ultrasound. Prostate calcification and prostate stones are often caused by long-term chronic prostate inflammation, calcium salt deposition in the gland, etc. They may have no obvious symptoms, or they may be accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary urgency, and difficulty in urination, etc. If there are no obvious symptoms, they can be observed and followed up regularly. It is recommended that the patient should consult the doctor in time, and formulate a treatment plan by combining the symptoms and signs.
